We are living in harmony when our minds, bodies and spirits are healthy and balanced. Ailments of the physical body often stem from imbalance within the realms of mind and spirit. When we dig beneath the surface, we find that true and lasting healing always starts within.
What is holistic healing?
Holistic medicine is a method of healing that focuses on the person as a whole, rather than just treating a specific health condition. By focusing on the mind, body, and spirit, we get to the root of an issue instead of simply treating the symptoms. With a unique combination of healing modalities, individuals can achieve good health by strengthening their emotional, spiritual, physical, and mental wellness as a whole.
I'll never call myself a healer of anyone but myself, as I strongly believe that each of us has the innate wisdom and capacity within to heal ourselves.
I am we, you are me, we are all one. Though I may carry different experience and wisdom than another, I'll always work within the truth of each of us being equally divine and worthy of love.
I promise to meet you where you're at with love and acceptance, and hold sacred space that's free of judgement as I
guide you along your personal healing journey.
What is it about the letters found after a person's name on a business card that seems to directly reflect their value and wisdom? I remember feeling like I finally held merit when I was first able to place credentials by my name on a letter head.
Over the years I've held many professional titles and certifications. While I'm very proud of those achievements, they certainly don't define me nor do they reflect my life's purpose.
I am equally proud of the titles you won't find on a business card - like: mom of 3 littles, devoted wife, fur momma, loyal daughter, granddaughter, niece, sister, cousin, friend - artist, yogini, animal lover, spiritual warrior, nature nerd, empath, shadow worker, conduit of divine energy, clairvoyant psychic medium, neurodivergent goddess, indigenous spirit, child of the most high, believer in our universal oneness...
Creator has blessed me with many gifts, and it is my purpose here to share them in support of our collective healing.
I am Binesikwe (Thunderbird Woman).
I call myself a holistic health practitioner.
You can call me Leah.
