You are living in harmony when your mind, body and spirit are healthy and balanced. We are so much more than just our physical bodies, and when we dig beneath the surface we find that true healing starts within. This is why I take a holistic approach to helping you live your best life!
But what is holistic healing?
Holistic medicine is a method of healing that focuses on the person as a whole, rather than just treating a specific health condition. By focusing on the mind, body, and spirit, we get to the root of an issue instead of simply treating the symptoms. With a unique combination of healing modalities, individuals can achieve good health by strengthening their emotional, spiritual, physical, and mental wellness as a whole.
We all carry the innate wisdom to facilitate healing within ourselves, but somewhere along the way we lose sight of, and even belief in this ability. We're human! Life is messy! It's OKAY. However, when we slow down, listen, and do the work, we can peel back those messy "life" layers to reveal this wisdom once again.
Should I be gifted with the opportunity to work with you, I promise to meet you where you are, free of judgement or expectation. (We've all got baggage- I'm no better than you, nor you than I. Human, remember?)
Guided by Spirit, I will do all I can to equip you with the tools you'll need to heal, love, and live in peace and harmony with yourself.
What is it about the letters attached to the end of a person's name that seems to directly reflect their value and wisdom? I remember feeling like I finally held merit when I was first able to place credentials by my name on a letter head...
Over the years I've held the professional titles of nationally certified pharmacy technician, surgical and medical veterinary technician, certified personal trainer, 200hr registered yoga teacher, certified Reiki Master practitioner, and a few more along the way.
While I'm very proud of those achievements, they don't define me, and I am equally as proud of the titles you won't find on my business card - like:
Mom of 3 littles - devoted wife - loyal daughter, granddaughter, niece, sister, cousin, friend - artist, yogini, animal lover, spiritual warrior, nature nerd, empath, lover of light, conduit of divine energy, indigenous spirit, child of God, believer in our universal oneness...
What I do know is that God has blessed me with beautiful gifts, and it is now my time to share them with the world.
I am Binesikwe (Thunderbird Woman).
I call myself a holistic health practitioner.
You can call me Leah.
