Holistic health is caring for the whole person. It is tending to your physical, mental, spiritual, and social needs, being aware of how all these aspects affect your overall health.
Everything is made of energy. We are all energetic beings. Energy Healing is a gentle yet powerful therapy that helps you connect to your inner source of vibrancy and life force, making it available to shift physical, emotional, and mental dysfunction to health and well-being. When we balance our energy centers (chakras), we find the body starts releasing trapped areas of trauma and ignites our own ability to heal!
Everyone. No, seriously. As imperfect human beings we all struggle at times. Whether it's our physical health, emotional, spiritual, or mental well being, we all have areas to improve upon. If you're ready for positive change, I will work with you to figure out the best way to to integrate holistic care into your current wellness practices.
Simply put, no. While much of the work I do is of the spiritual nature, none of it is specific to any particular religion or faith base. We are all spiritual beings deriving from a higher power. Whether you call that God, source, Creator, the universe, or any number of things, you'll find that the work done at Heart's Garden only amplifies your personal faith and connection to the God of your understanding.
Chakras refer to various energy centers in your body that correspond to specific nerve bundles and internal organs. The seven major chakras run from the base of your spine to the top of your head. If these energy centers get blocked, you may experience physical or emotional symptoms related to a particular chakra.
Absolutely not! Yoga is truly for everybody and every body. Although it's only 1 small piece of the practice, most people are intimidated by the physical component of yoga (the asanas or postures), but even these can be customized to your personal needs and abilities. Outside of the physical practice, yoga also includes pranayama (breath work), meditation, and many other aspects to help you journey inward and discover the freedom of unconditional self love. Long story short, if you can breathe, you can do yoga!
It depends on your insurance. I do not file with insurance, but if upon contacting your personal insurance carrier you find that my services might be covered, I will work with you however you need to submit a claim!
